This is one of a set of 6 of Calder's Bicentennial Tapestries, which he completed in 1975, a year before his death in 1976, making the tapestries among his last completed works.

This print originated from a limited edition folio that Calder himself published in 1975 of the tapestries. This makes it the only print of this work that was actually authorized by Calder, and sold by him in his lifetime. As such, this is quite a special vintage litho!
